NFTY is an organization of Jewish teens all across the U.S.A and Canada, or North America. It is for high schoolers as well as middle schoolers. The middle school program is just starting out. There are 19 regions that split the U.S.A and Canada up. As AETY has a board so does NFTY. It is comprised of 6 members, and there is an election each year.North American Board, or NAB, does not plan events as AETY board does. Each region also has a board that plans events, and the amount of people on the board varies depending on the region.  NFTY has some national events. The biggest one is Convention which takes place every two years. The next one will be in 2017. We also have Nashir which is specifically for people such as songleaders, and that happens yearly.

The Garden Empire Region of NFTY serves Jewish Teens in central and northern New Jersey and the West Hudson Valley of New York (Rockland and Orange counties). We work in partnership with Union for Reform Judaism affiliated congregations to provide meaningful Jewish experiences for middle and high school students.
We are part of the family of Union for Reform Judaism camps and youth programs.URJ Youth provides young people with immersive Jewish experiences in North America, and around the world, including camps, Israel trips and social action/service learning travel programs.
AETY and Anshe Emeth is apart of GER. GER stands for Garden Empire Region, and spans across most of New Jersey and some of New York.AETY is in the southern subregion. GER has 4 weekend long events and 2 day long ones. It is for high schoolers(9-12th) and we also have a program for 6-8th graders. As AETY has a board that plans events so does GER and every other NFTY region. Our board has 9 members. GER also has a chairs or a Cabinet. These are people who apply for specific positions to help lead GER.
